Serving
Adopt-A-School Program: Harbor Church is honored to call Hoover home, and you can help us bless our home by serving in one of the following ways:
Monthly Coffee & Bagels for the Teachers: If you are interested in helping deliver coffee and bagels to the teachers of Hoover, please contact Chris Brewster at or (619) 495-8153. We will visit on the first Tuesday of each month.
Get Up, Get Out: Once a quarter, Harbor joins with other churches and agencies in the area to beautify the Hoover campus. If you are interested in participating, then contact Chris Brewster at or (619) 495-8153.
Mentoring at Hoover: If you are interested in developing a relationship with (hanging out with) a young person at Hoover for 30 minutes a week (on the Hoover campus), then contact Chris Brewster at or (619) 495-8153.
Young Life: We are partnering with Young Life to invest in the spiritual development of inner-city youth. If you are interested in hosting a BBQ or getting involved with the club meetings, then contact Chris Brewster at or (619) 495-8153.
San Diego Refugee Tutoring
Make a difference in someone's life--make a difference in your life. A group of educators from Harbor Mid-City runs a tutorial every Monday afternoon at Ibarra Elementary School for recent, refugee families. If you are interested in helping out or checking it out, contact:

Community in Mission: The best way to do works of mercy and justice is in community. In fact, the only way to sustain a life of doing justice and loving mercy is to do so in community. Therefore, we encourage you to join a community group because each community group will be doing works of justice and mercy together on a monthly basis. If you are interested, contact Chris Brewster at or (619) 495-8153.
