FAMILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday Operations:  We are in need of people to help make church
happen on Sunday mornings  Specifically, we need people to either
volunteer for set-up before church or break-down after church once a
month.  If you are interested, contact A.J. Wlotko at

Today is Freedom Sunday:  Partnering with GenerateHope, Harbor Church
is committed to seeing the oppressed set free through their
comprehensive and uniquely designed long-term recovery program for
young women who have been trafficked, prostituted, or otherwise
sexually exploited.  GenerateHope is opening their housing & treatment
program Mar 1, 2010 & as we all work together we can make the vision a
reality; we can loose the chains & set these prisoners free!
GenerateHope needs your help with tutoring students, field trips, food
& clothing donations, financial assistance, prayer, welcome kits for
the program participants & much more. Visit generatehope.org for

Church pot luck on Sunday, March 7th 2010 Bring your favorite
multi-cultural dish.  Soul food, Mexican or other ethnic foods. If
your name begins with the following letters bring:
A-H main dish
I-P Vegetable or salads
Q-Z Dessert or Fruit
We will have extra guests that day from the community and two visiting
college mission groups.  Please be  generous!  Plan to stay for get
up/ get out!

Get Up, Get Out:  On Sunday, March 7, we will eat a big Mexican meal
together after church and then we will get up and out into the
community to make it a better place to live by removing graffiti and
picking up trash both north and south of El Cajon.  We will be joining
with friends and residents from the community so please join us as we
love our neighbors.

NEW SHORT-TERM SMALL GROUP: Do you feel as though you’re already
living at high speed yet things just keep going faster and faster? You
are not alone… Join this 6-week Faith and Work Ministry small group
study to explore ways to create more “margin” in our lives. Begins
Tuesday, March 2, 7 p.m. in Kensington. Workbook: Restoring Margin to

HARBOR'S LAMP SEMINARY-ANNOUNCING NEXT CLASS: Ever want to be better
equipped to understand, teach and apply Scripture? Or want to earn a
bachelor's or master's degree in theology and ministry? Harbor's LAMP
Seminary gives the opportunity for students from a wide variety of
economic and ethnic backgrounds to pursue a theological education
without moving away from the family, employment or church. Our next
class will be starting Wed. Mar. 3 and will run six weeks.   Classes
will be held at Harbor's Downtown office from 7-9pm. Our next course -
Gospel Transformation - will explore the application of the gospel for
our continued growth in our faith.There is a one-time application fee
to enroll in the program of $50. Auditors Welcome ($50 audit fee per

Save the date--Oct. 10, 2010:  The first site of Harbor began 10 years
ago and all 9 of our current sites (and hopefully one more that will
be launching) will gather to celebrate God's faithfulness in the
miracle of Harbor.  We have rented the Balboa Theatre downtown that
seats 1500 people and you will need to arrive early to get a seat.
Third Sunday with IOB
Every Third Sunday of each month, we warmly invite you to stay after
church to build relationships and to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared
by IOB.  IOB will be selling affordable meals as a fundraiser for our
ministry.  We will use the money for conferences, retreats, community
service projects, etc.  February 21, 2010 menu: Thai Chicken Green
Curry served with Steamed Jasmine Rice.  Child friendly snacks will be

Tercer Domingo Con IOB
Cada tercera semana del mes, los invitamos a quedarse despues de la
iglesia para hacer amistades y disfrutar de almuerzos deliciosos
preparados por IOB (el grupo de Jovenes).  IOB estara vendiendo
comidas a bajo precio con el proposito de levantar fondos para nuestro
ministerio. Vamos a usar los fondos para las conferencias, retiros,
proyectos para la comunidad, y mucho mas. El menu de Febrero es:
Chicken Green Curry con Arroz de Jasmine. Tambien estaremos sirviendo
snacks para los ninos. Por favor vengan!!!

Marque esta fecha en su calendario - El 19 de Octubre de este año, la
primera congreación de las Iglesias Harbor llegará a sus 10 AÑOS, y
nueve de nuestras actuales congregaciones ( y otra que se espera abrir
muy pronto ) se reunirán para celebrar la fidelidad de Dios en el
milagro Harbor. Hemos alquilado el Teatro Balboa en el centro de la
ciudad que acomoda a 1500 personas y necesitamos llegar todos temprano
si queremos encontrar una silla ".

Pequeños Grupos: La iglesia Harbor esta organizada en Pequeños Grupos.
Los Pequeños Grupos son la manera principal de experimentar la vida
