Our Mission

Our Mission is What Will Make Our Vision a Reality

 

• In Mid-City San Diego:  We are striving to make our vision for Mid-City San Diego a reality by doing three things: 

1. Loving our neighbors (the Great Commandment--Mt. 22:36-40),
2. Bridging cultures (the Great Commission--Mt. 28:19-20), and
3. Enjoying God (the Great Commandment--Mt. 22:36-40).

• In San Diego/Tijuana:  We are striving to make our vision for San Diego/Tijuana a reality by doing three things: 

1. Like Ezra, we are seeking Spiritual Renewal by planting other Harbor Churches (P.C.A.), by creating metro alliances with other like-minded churches and equipping them to plant gospel-centered churches, and by praying for more gospel-centered churches that are outside of our relational network.
2. Like Nehemiah, we are seeking to re-weave the social fabric of the city through ministries of mercy and justice.  
3. Like Esther, we are seeking to stimulate cultural leadership and renewal for Christ by:
   a.  Equipping Christians to think about their work with Christian distinctiveness
   b.  Equipping Christians to do their work with excellence, and
   c.  Equipping Christians to be people of integrity in all their life

• In the World:  We are striving to make our vision for the world a reality by doing three things:

1. Connecting the nations that have gathered in Mid-City and beyond to Christ,
2. Developing them into Gospel pacesetters, and
3. Releasing them to transform their cities of origin.
